Erica and Alex somehow met at a work conference in Phoenix. I say somehow because Alex is from France and Erica from the US. They were placed together at a Texas Hold ’em tournament and have been together since. Erica moved to France with Alex, but they had a Palm Harbor wedding at the White Chapel to keep it close to Erica’s family. All of Alex’s family came from France and other places for their beautiful destination wedding. Erica got ready at the gorgeous Sandpearl beach house in Clearwater and we were able to get some fun beach portraits in her stunning Hayley Paige gown she purchased from White Magnolia. They had their ceremony at the White Chapel in Palm Harbor. We did their sunset portraits at a nearby park and dock. I am obsessed with how the sunset colors match their wedding style. They had their reception next-door to the White Chapel at Harbor Hall.
Brenda Roberts (flowers), Puff n Stuff (catering), Michele Renee Studio (hair and makeup), Goldies Goodies (cake), DJ Brandon James, On the Move (lighting and decor), and Bella Musica (string quartet).
What do you want your friends/family to say about your wedding?
They had so much fun. They were glad to get to know the other side, and that they can see why we’re together (I.e. Our tastes and preferences align even though we’re from different sides of the world).
Erica’s unique dress and how it moved, the first look with her dad and how happy he was, Erica’s bridesmaids’ toast (theatrical with keyboard and a play about their love story!), the (apparently) French champagne spraying game at the party, how much fun their wedding party was to photograph and the sing-a-long trolley ride on the way to the dock.
