Veronica and Eric had a whimsical, black-tie wedding at the Tampa River Center in Downtown Tampa. They had their closest friends and family along with their dog Sunny.

Veronica and Eric’s wedding was nothing short of spectacular—an exquisite blend of timeless elegance and unexpected fun. Set in the heart of downtown Tampa at the stunning Tampa River Center, this black-tie celebration was filled with sophisticated touches, a joyful pop of yellow, and a few surprise elements that made the night one to remember. From getting ready at the Marriott on Water Street to dancing under disco balls, every moment of their day was infused with love, laughter, and a hint of whimsy.

Getting Ready: A Perfect Start at the Marriott on Water Street

The day began in the sleek and modern surroundings of the Marriott on Water Street, just a stone’s throw away from the River Center. Veronica and her party shared lots of laughs during karaoke while getting makeup and hair done by Samantha Landis and team. Everyone got photos with Sunny, their adorable dog as well as gave her all the love she deserves. There was also a moment when all the bridesmaids shared stories and passed around the tequila bottle. Veronica looked absolutely radiant as she slipped into her form fitting white gown, a classic design with just the right amount of modern flair.

Vows & First Look

Veronica and Eric's first look was in the mezzanine level at the Marriott Water Street. It was witnessed by their closest family and friends. Afterward, they shared their personal vows in front of their immediate family. Many happy tears were shed. We continued into family and wedding party photos at the Marriott Water Street. There was a really gorgeous well lit hallway that was perfect for photos.

A Timeless Ceremony with a Pop of Yellow

As the ceremony began at the Tampa River Center, guests were greeted with a stunning mix of black, white, and yellow—the couple’s carefully chosen color palette that added just the right amount of vibrance to the event. The classic black-and-white design was enhanced by cheerful pops of yellow, creating a fresh, elegant vibe that felt both sophisticated and joyful.

Veronica and Eric’s vows were exchanged outdoors overlooking the Hillsborough River. The setting sun cast a warm glow on the couple as they promised each other forever, surrounded by their closest friends and family. The crescent moon arch and wildflower floral arrangements framed the scene perfectly, with yellow blooms adding a burst of color to the romantic atmosphere.

Reception Fun: Disco Balls, Blow-Up Cows, and Unforgettable Moments

This may have been a black-tie affair, but they all UNLEASHED at the PARTY! My goodness was it fun! The Tampa River Center’s spacious ballroom had been transformed into a glittering wonderland with sparkling disco balls hanging from the ceiling, casting shimmering light onto the dance floor and setting the stage for a lively evening of celebration.

And then, the blow-up cows appeared.

That’s right—blow-up cows! In the midst of all the elegance, these whimsical inflatable cows added an unexpected dose of fun and personality to the event. Guests couldn’t resist taking photos with the cows, and they quickly became the center of attention as the evening went on. It was a perfect reflection of Veronica and Eric’s vibrant personalities—chic, but never too serious!

The reception’s decor was the perfect balance of stylish sophistication and lighthearted fun. The black-and-white linens, paired with yellow accents, set a classy tone, while the disco balls and inflatable cows reminded everyone that this was a celebration, and nothing was off-limits.
