St. Pete wedding at the Morean Center for Clay with minimal design and jewel tones.
Alena and Luke's wedding at the Morean Center for Clay was laid back and unique. Every wedding I book at this venue seems to be the same. I first met Alena and Luke in person when they flew me to Seattle to photograph their engagement session (I suppose I should blog that too! It was incredible!). Our personalities and styles just mesh so well as they were emo teens too.
Their wedding was minimal, but modern and styled well. They included their best of friends and close family, and the ONE and only, Dexter, their dog with a mohawk. Don't miss the nighttime photos at the end!
Event Lab 1 (planning), Fresh Connection, flowers were DIY, Azazie (dress), Indochino (suit), Hair & Makeup by Yanna with Lasting Luxe.
How they met:
We met all the way back in 2005 in college for photography. Lucas sat next to me in our first class and we were even "partners" on one of the first class projects. We became friends and I had a huge crush on him but was too shy to tell him about it. We remained friends after school, and in 2008, got together for drinks on his birthday. He likes to say after that I came over and never left (haha) But we were pretty much inseparable from that point on.
