I remember when they shyly told me how they met on Tinder and had their first date at an awesome Tampa restaurant, Miguel’s. Greg even proposed in the same place! I got to know Clarissa and Greg especially during their engagement session and I found that Clarissa loves to giggle and Greg loves to make her do that. He’s not a boisterous comedian, but he knows how to make her smile for sure. All of this about their personalities carried true throughout the wedding day and they both laughed so much with each other, their friends and family.
They decided on a Sacred Heart wedding ceremony since they are catholic and this church is breathtaking. Right in the middle of downtown Tampa, it makes its own statement and I get chills every time I enter. After the ceremony we had a couple of hours to kill, and they KILLED the photos! They rented a ’65 red Mustang from Revvies and there was no lack of photos with this beauty. Seeing as Greg is an English teacher and Clarissa appreciates literature, their reception was literary themed with some beautiful details done by the couple. Loving music and dancing together, they also booked a musician and band from one of their first dates, Forrest Hoffar.
The confetti poppers with the girls during getting ready, the breathtaking Sacred Heart Church, of course the 1965 red Ford Mustang, AND the sparkler exit I convinced them to drive through! Thank you to Fr. George Corrigan for performing a great ceremony, Rusty Pelican for the awesome food, Revvies Classics for providing the car, Destiny and Light for hair and makeup, Arlene Floral Design, Forrest Hoffar and band, Minted for Stationary, Tri-Five violin quintet, Snapbooth and Jolley Trolley. Her dress is Martina Liana- Vow’s and his suit is Jos. A. Bank.
