Lauren and Josh have a traditional Jewish wedding at Michael’s on East in Sarasota, FL.

Kristin Berry accompanied me as my second shooter on Lauren and Josh’s wedding. We started getting ready in two different locations, Kristin with the guys at the Hyatt and me with Lauren and the ladies (plus dad) at her childhood home. Being from Sarasota, Lauren and Josh decided on a Michael’s on East wedding because of the size of the venue and their wine cellar and beautiful ballroom. In Florida, of course indoor options are really important. Lauren got ready with her mom and sister. They both got to have first looks with parents! Josh with his mom and Lauren with her dad.

Later on we headed to Michael’s and they had their first look followed by family photos. This was by far the most traditional Jewish wedding I have photographed because there was also the Ketubah signing, two Tisches and the Bedeken all prior to the ceremony itself. I have to say, with all of these traditions it was extremely lively and full of moments. Their reception was one to remember! Holy moly I swear Jewish wedding are always LIT! It reminded me of my first wedding at Michael’s with Gabrielle and Richard’s wedding. Please enjoy all of their moments full of emotion below.

Thank you to those that made their day possible:
