Leah and Nick have a blue and gold Apalachicola wedding at Riverfront Park and the Robert Lindsley Art Gallery.
Many moons ago, Leah was my wedding assistant. So of course I was flattered and excited to photograph her wedding! She and Nick were dating when she worked with me, but I never got to meet him. They live up in north Florida now so they decided to have an Apalachicola wedding on the riverfront and their reception at a local art gallery. I am so glad this gave me a reason to go to this adorable town! I had so much fun exploring the unique shops and buying goodies to bring home. We started the wedding day at the Consulate Suites, a gorgeous brick building. We had their first look just outside with Nick and Leah’s dad. We then got family and wedding party photos all done before the ceremony!
Their ceremony was at Riverfront Park, with gorgeous blue skies. We did most of their photos in this location as well. The intimate reception was so much fun in the Robert Lindsley Art gallery. He was nice enough to also allow us to do some photography inside the gallery.
Things that stood out during their day:
Leah and her mom’s expressions together, all the gorgeous vintage buildings in downtown Apalachicola, all the possibly haunted buildings, Nick and Leah’s dad’s reactions during their first looks, Leah’s gorgeous red hair, Leah and Nick’s sunset moments and the hilarious sparkler exit. Thank you to the following vendors for all they did to make their day awesome: Amanda Reeves for planning and officiating, Absolutely Cake, Bite Me Catering, Lindsey Schaefer Mobile wedding hair and makeup, Chuck Lawson entertainment and a very special thank you to Nick’s mom, Kimmie, for the gorgeous florals and greenery.
